aldeburgh food & Drink festival
We’ve helped one of the UK’s biggest independent food and drink festivals deliver complete photo and motion coverage for years.
The Challenge
The Aldeburgh Food & Drink Festival has a rich 20+ years heritage of bringing together the best producers from the eastern region and the most experienced talent from the UK food industry. Over the years of working together, we’ve provided support across the festival’s programme including stills, motion, aerial along with some additional production support such as specialist Media Accreditation.
A well-regarded festival full of talent means a rich programme, strong sponsors and a dedicated crowd. We needed to ensure coverage across busy stages and multiple areas of focus.
We always need to set creative direction and keep consistency in the work to help root the experiences in place and put people at the festival.
Finally, as always, we need to ensure production was faultless; adapting to the naturally changing scope of events, managing a multi-roled crew and our place within the festival.
How We Made it Work
coverage across busy stages, multiple focus areas, set creative direction keep consistency, flawless production
Putting the right energy into Pre-Production and making sure we planned our approach carefully, we put the following in place to give the very best result for the festival each year:-
A Creative Approach at the heart that set out how we’d capture the varied programming, features, sponsors, atmosphere and beyond - cohesively telling the story of the festival with one voice
Production that brings everything together and considers all the working and dynamic aspects of the festival. We put a team in place that knew how to add value and could react to a changing environment
Cementing in evolution so year-on-year we could find ways of doing things better and bringing more to help the festival leadership deliver on better experiences for the guests and the brands
The Impact
“Pine are meticulous about the details, thorough in their research and understanding of the brief, and then manage to be completely relaxed throughout the event while getting it all done. They’re knowledgeable and able to offer advice and guidance to enable them to get the best possible shots, which is invaluable to an Event Director. ”
